Download for Windows
Install TouchMenu on the computer that will run your restaurant's menu. You need a license key to open it, so pick a plan first.
Download the installer
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Windows may show Windows protected your PC because TouchMenu is new. Click More info, then Run anyway. If it says Smart App Control blocked TouchMenu, there is no Run anyway: see what to do.
What you need
- A Windows 10 or 11 PC that stays on during service. It serves the menu to guests' phones.
- A Wi-Fi network for guests that the PC is on, kept apart from your card terminals and office computers.
- Receipt printers (optional): network ESC/POS printers, 58 or 80 mm, for kitchen tickets and bills.
- Guests' phones with any modern browser. Nothing to install.
- An internet connection to activate your license, and at least once every 14 days to check it. Guests' ordering doesn't need it.
Set up in an afternoon
- Install and open the app. Activate your license with the key from your purchase email.
- Leave the Windows Firewall option ticked in the installer, so phones on your Wi-Fi can reach the app.
- Set up your restaurant. Enter its name, the number of tables and an owner PIN.
- Add your menu. Dishes, photos, prices and options. A sample menu helps you try things first.
- Print your table cards from the QR codes page and put one on each table.
- Add your printers in Settings and print a test ticket.
Step-by-step guides for Wi-Fi, QR cards, printers and more are in the help centre.
Tips
- Reserve the PC's address in your router, so printed cards keep working. TouchMenu shows the steps in Menu → QR codes.
- If phones can't reach the PC, turn off "client isolation" or "AP isolation" on the guest Wi-Fi. If they can, leave it on.
- Set Windows not to sleep during opening hours.
